Today FFL RESCUE ODV blows out 10 candles and in these years we have made great strides...From the dream of freedom of a sweet cavalier king, Maggie, born in Hungary and transported for a long journey to Milano Marittima where waiting for her there was a cage inside a store, was born in the heart of Vice President Monica and then President Alessandra, the desire to make that dream a reality... In these years FFL RESCUE ODV has structured itself and slowly made itself known not with words but with concrete help and rescues.
Hundreds of adoptions every year, active actions in seizures over 170 cavaliers residing within the Rescue... this is what FFL RESCUE ODV is all about, wanting to become bigger and bigger and be able to help more and more cavalier kings in need.

In memory of Argo we save Melissa
ARGO in an instant you entered our hearts with your little face so sweet and your heart full of sorrow for the abandonment of your family.Your big eyes scanned us looking for answers that we could not give you. How could we explain the reason for your abandonment at such a difficult time you were facing? How could we give a reason for your physical pain? While you watched us, we looked inward into our souls and were ashamed to be part of the living beings.We prayed, hoped and searched for positive thoughts for you everywhere...Seeing you wagging your tail after surgery, your eagerness to stand up on your paws and the diagnosis that you would walk again had made us believe that miracles can come true.Yesterday, however, probably a thrombus, tore you from life and our hearts. Alessandra rushed you to the hospital and you wagged your tail for the last time to thank her for the infinite love she gave you.What can I say...THANK YOU ARGO, THANK YOU for once again teaching us how much you ani..mals are of a higher level than us humans, thank you for the great lesson of the will to live without complaining about trifles, of the great courage to always want to go on.
Thank you for your purity We are sure that you will be on the bridge with our beloved Life/Musa and that you will run free from the pain that has gripped you in these last days. You will be surrounded by your favorite cookies.Know little love of ours that each one of us cried seeing you wearing your wings...know that you will always live in our memory...Please ARGO, now help us to save little MELISSA who is struggling with all of herself to heal and get back on her feet. SOS MELISSA -- SHE'S LOOKING FOR FAMILY
LET'S SAVE HER LIFE
Melissa is only 2 years old but already she was used as a broodmare despite not standing on her paws, she was malnourished and had her most basic rights taken away.She arrived in Ffl rescue odv on Saturday, October 12 and the following day we decided to take her immediately to St. Mark Vet where immediate hospitalization was necessary.
In the first two days of hospitalization she presented with severe dysentery and was immediately started on a proper diet with a Hypoallergenic feed, ferments, etc. and now allows us to be able to do a CT diagnostic checkup to determine the extent of periarthritis also through nerve sampling.
Periarthritis is a generally chronic inflammatory process of a joint. Inflammation can involve multiple elements, such as tendons, ligaments, and layers of cartilage, and in Melissa's case, also taking into account her young age, it is urgent to have a complete clinical picture in order to make a proper diagnosis especially to understand if on an autoimmune basis.
The veterinarians confirmed the prognosis of Polyarthritis so Melissa begins a course of physiotherapy sessions with acupuncture, laser, water manipulation and sessions with the behaviorist to help her overcome the trauma she has suffered.
Subjected to cortisone, behavioral and physical therapy every day. MELISSA has started getting up and walking There are no words to see you asking for cuddles from the veterinarians who have a thousand attentions for you.. Melissa spends her days as a co-worker in the phiosotherapy department where she waits, patiently patient, for cuddles.
Melissa deserves to LIVE, deserves to know the meaning of no pain, a caress and a pure human heart to love.
